Bilal Junaid talks about being an entrepreneur and battling failure:

Failure is a fact of life so we need to embrace it, learn from it, put it behind us, and move on. We need to shrug it off or else it will start taking a toll on your mental health. It’s a simple concept, but many aspiring entrepreneurs don’t accept failure and end up quitting. You never know how close you are to the finish line so keep going. Being an entrepreneur is all about taking calculated risks. It can hit the bull’s eye or go south. Sometimes these bets don’t pay off but if you let your failures overshadow your future ventures, you might miss out on a lot of opportunities in the business world.

This may seem obvious but unless you know what you’re working towards and have a clear idea of how to approach it, you’re going to fail at the first hurdle. In this digital age where most information is available on the internet, by understanding your industry inside and out, you can achieve more success and opportunities than ever. Bilal Junaid is a senior engineer and successful Venture Capitalist as well as Tech Investor. He believes that every Entrepreneur is shaped by their own experience and that should be used to their advantage in future. He is a mechatronics Engineer and also the founder of a private venture capital firm by the name of Genblock Capital in Silicon Valley. Since funding his own company and investing in tech, Bilal has worked with some of the top companies in the tech industry.

He says, “You’re not born an entrepreneur, you become one with experience. You are also going to make mistakes along your path. That doesn’t mean you’re not an entrepreneur, it means you’re human. The key is to learn from those mistakes and how to not repeat them going forward.”
